General Assembly

I feel so energized! What a week at UU General Assembly this past week! With the historical ruling on marriage equality coming from the Supreme Court on the third day of the Assembly, joy kept bubbling up through the edges of the events, even as we gravely addressed issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement and the Cherry Point coal plant that threatens the Lummi Nation and their local environment, which of course affects the planet.

I learned so much.

So many thoughts and feelings and lessons and dreams, and I feel urged to action. I’ve felt this before and lost it somehow, so maybe writing will help preserve the inspiration from this time.
