My not being a Christian has nothing to do with what Jesus said or did. He was fantastic. Amazing and fantastic, and I wish that more people subscribing to Him would take to heart and carry out the stuff He said and exemplified rather than the stuff in Leviticus.
To be: Conscious Useful Articulate Prayer: I pray for transgendered students in California. May they find peace, love, and acceptance. May we soon grow as a society to a point where acceptance of gender identity is a no-brainer.
To be: alert comprehensible easygoing Prayer: I pray for Johnny, may he have all the serenity, love, and joy I want for myself.
To be: Loving Kind Relaxed Prayer: I pray for both houses of Congress. May they continue to cooperate even in their differences and get some things done that benefit our people.
Because that’s just poetic. Actually my boys think those are fine names for Hobbits. Or ferrets.
I pray for Carolyn Hax. I’m grateful for her voice of sanity and willingness to share it. I pray for as much health, peace, and prosperity as will fit within her HP’s plan.
