Scraps of Paper

It came today.  It was two months late.  It's rather small and unimpressive.  The gold seal is nice though.  Diploma, Associate of Arts, Foreign Language - Arabic Emphasis.  That's my second Associate.  The first was in General Studies, heh, which sounds a LOT less impressive.  Like an AA is impressive in the first place?

It's SOMEthing though.  It'll do.  Mostly it's trying to say I didn't waste my time spending a year and a half in an Army school, striving to get good grades, just to find myself out on a pregnancy discharge.  I'd hate to think it was for nothing.

A shopping list.  Heh, yes.  There was a yard sale after all, no rain this morning.

A travel voucher.  Reimbursed expenses.  Money in the bank.

It has nothing to do with paper, but I have discovered that I really love the Erol's modem song.  I guess you have to live on the eastern seaboard to know what I mean.  Erol's, the ISP, has a TV commercial with this highly rhythmic music that integrates the sound modems make when they link up.  It rocks. :)

I also like the theme song from Home Improvement.
