Regular Day

 

Locked my keys in the house today.  I was all fired up over my appointment and had just prevented a major disaster by diving for the door my kid had just opened, before the dog could bolt through it.  Walked out of the hosue and suddenly realized.  No keys.  Hadda borrow a neighbor's car to go to the place my husband works and get a key from him.  Still missed my appointment.      I also dove today to stop that same kid from pulling a fire alarm in a very, uhm, paranoid place.  The building where my husband works is a rather secure area, to say the least, and as bad as pulling a fire alarm might be anywhere else, to do it there would be ten times worse.      It's so funny that I don't bat an eye about diving on land, but don't you dare try to get me to dive into water.  I think it's the sensation of water up my nose, which happens no matter what breath-holding tecnique I use.      Got a flu shot today, my first in seven or eight years.  I only took one because the kids have to take one, so I might as well provide a good example.  I ache all over and am sniffling, and have been queasy ever since the shot.  Ugh!
