Former Warehouse
Owner Rebuilds Life in Hangar
Farmingdale - She had what was to others just a bunch of scrawl,
but to her a series of treasures. It all went up in flames last week,
nine months worth of creative works, in a hungry industrial fire that comsumed
the building so fast that firefighters were able to do nothing.
"You invest something of yourself when you create,
and when your creations bite the dust, well it can't help but be painful."
However, Spring Dew is ready
to move on. She has now leased space in a hangar
within which she can store her wings and create again.
"This is very fortunate," she says, "that I was
able to get this space, as right now a hangar is a great symbol for where
I am in my life. I am taking flight, while needing to feel grounded
at times. I cherish my newfound freedom and want to preserve it.
In a hangar you can do that."
Investigators failed to discover the cause of the
July 3rd fire that necessitated the move, although faulty wiring is suspected.
