I originally wrote “smitten” but that’s not entirely true, as I’m phobic nervous about gas and have to firmly not think of fire or suffocation. The same pros and cons I wrote about in the water heater entry apply here as well, of course. I’d be completely happy with a 100% electric house, probably, as that’s what I had in the RV and it was great. But the RV I lived in wasn’t going anywhere, and I want my retirement home to go everywhere. There may not always be cheap electricity available, maybe not even any at all.
