Woo hoo! Excited yet? I am! Blogathon starts TO-MOR-ROW. No sleep for the wicked, the weary, or the wary, however your version of the saying goes. Last I posted, the jury was still out on what I'm doing for Blogathon. The choices were:
War Blogging - On The Road And Off The Wire
Laptop, wireless card, and a car - war driving for wireless networks from which to post.
Art, One Piece At A Time
What I know about art is pretty limited, but I do know what I like. This would be an adventure through the world of art and what I find out along the way.
So, which one is it? Answer is - both, if possible. Wardriving wouldn't take the entire duration of Blogathon, and whether I can do it will depend on coordination, planning, and software. But I still badly want to do it, for the coolness factor alone. I have willingness on the part of the unlimited internet cellphone owner, but have to iron out details. So I'll be doing the Artwork up until wardriving time, and then afterward.
On a more somber note, tomorrow is also the day of the memorial service for Brian's mom and stepfather. I didn't know them, but I think it's important to show support for him at what's got to be a difficult time. So hopefully the wardriving thing will go off and I can post from the road. If not, hopefully the church will have a little bit of Internet to allow me to continue Blogathon. Else I'll need to score an email-enabled portable device like a cellphone or email pager or something.
Anybody got something like that they can lend me for a day, in case the wardriving doesn't work out?
