9:20 Duncan had an okay day at school, is reading some book about dragons in the modern day, and some brownies who are trying to relocate England’s dragons to a place in the Himilayas where it will be safe for them. Duncan’s grounded for looking at the TV when he was supposed to be doing homework.
Ian would like some of the yarn that I sent Duncan so that a teddy bear can be made of it. I pointed out that any WalMart would have it. He pointed out he has no money. I said we’ll see. He asked me about the packages. I said I’d send them when I get my replacement ATM card. Told him how I lost mine.
I just remembered that on a previous night he asked me if I would send him a T-shirt with his boar artwork on it. I want to do that.

9:40 Duncan had just finished social studies. I told him to check his email re: the game idea he’s discussing with Sean. He said he’d ask his dad if he could use the computer to do that. He also said he got to have hot lunch today because he aced a test earlier in the week. He also said that because he aced a test today, he’d get hot lunch when his dad gets his paycheck next week. Apparently they get hot lunch as a reward. Otherwise they have to eat sack lunch.
Ian was working on the math homework his dad’s been assigning him. After that he has cursive practice, and after that a shower and pajamas before he goes to bed. He expects to get hot lunch on the 14th, although he doesn’t start school again until the 13th, but he says he’s been doing very well.
