In fact, Cho is still standing up, as she deals with some really idiotic letters from listeners. If you have the patience (and I don’t – I work tech support and thus get enough stupidity in my life), go see her blog for details.
These two phrase the issue far more imaginatively than I did.

Well, I don’t really have the time to be diving into all that myself either, but you bring up some real points here. And it is not just about marriage, either. Times do change, for better or for worse, and peoples’ attitudes towards marriage are changing as well. I, for one, am not one to be scared of change, especially for the better. I can be, however, scared for the reasons for the change. If it is to catch up with the times, or to throw out archaic misfit traditions, great. But if it is out of laziness or carelessness, that is when things just start to fall apart. And unfortunately, everywhere you look, you can see things start to fall apart. But on that notion, as well, I can only see it as a result of seeing society beginning to reach some sort of critical mass. But that’s another story altogether.
No, in fact, I didn’t even know about 2HC until your poll today. I haven’t been reading you all that long so I didn’t know about your other outlets. That’s why you have no poll response from me – I won’t answer it until I at least know what I’m talking about. Looking forward to reading.
