I definitely want to go out tonight. I feel kind of down, and am presently listening to mp3 items from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack through earphones. Man, this music is good - I'm going to have to buy the CDs, expensive as they are. It'll have to be one at a time, but damn this stuff rocks. See Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts.
My shift got changed at work. Not the hours, but the days. Now I'm working Monday nights through Friday nights, which means no more Thursday night antics. It also means canceling or cutting short D&D Fridays, which I've been building my schedule around ever since I've been employed down here. It also means only three nights per week with my old team. I really don't like that at all. But it's either that, or go back to evening shift so that someone from there can go nights. Erg.
I handed in some biological samples today and got some blood drawn. There's still some more samples to do, then I can make the follow-up appointment for 3 weeks from then. We'll finally see what's going on with my innards. If the tests don't say something, I am sure the gooseneck lamp and camera they're gonna send in will. Heh, ok maybe it's not all THAT bad, but still ...
Wlofie has been showing me a few funny things, like this site where we peace proponents can take our protests firmly in hand, as it were. Here's a site where you can encode a small message to look like spam. Just make sure the recipient knows to expect it. I fed it some spam I got, but it turned out to be actual spam - no exciting hidden message there. Alas.
