For great justice...
After examining my check register, I see that I use the quadruple line method. It's just like the double line method, only twice as big. I write big. And fast. Now I am not too surprised that I have to ask for another register before my checks are gone. Well that and the fact that 80% of the items in the register are actually electronic in nature.
Economics has gotten interesting. I think that's because I am now seeing the ideas and theories and trends behind the numbers. Plain numbers bore me, but Alan Greenspan, and the media's coverage of his stuff, has really done a lot to make me interested in the dynamics of an economy. Like now, I wish I had a few grand of somebody else's money to toss into tech stocks. Not the fluffy frufru B2B or hopelessly specialized gizmo companies. I mean infrastructure - routers, cable, servers, the software to run all that, the meat and potatoes of business technology. I don't think they are done dropping, but I don't think they are gonna go much lower, and I wanna beat the companies' tendency to buy their own stock back. Unfortunately, I don't have $$$.
